Version 1.8.4

This update adds support for Textbundle files and brings optimizations for OS X El Capitan. It also enhances the HTML-to-text conversion and UTF-32 support, as well as improves the performance and overall reliability.

Version 1.8.3

This update adds support for a number of file formats including history files, bookmarks, and ePub ebooks. The improved See Also algorithm gives more precise results and indexing handles defective files more gracefullly. Version 1.8.3 is also faster and indexes up to ten percent quicker than the previous version.

• Automatic updating of index didn't always ignore hidden folders and their contents.

This release adds support for Finder and OpenMeta tags, Scapple files, and Open Graph properties. Email messages are indexed again on OS X Mavericks and Yosemite. DEVONsphere Express 1.8 is also faster, less CPU intensive, and more reliable. This update also fixes known bugs. It is recommended for all users.

This update adds a new category for folders and supports OS X Mavericks Finder tags and comments. It now also indexes archived chats, gives you quick access to frequently used commands, and lets you easily show and hide the web search category.
